Milestone Media (commonly referred to as Milestone Comics) is a groundbreaking comic book imprint founded in 1993 by Dwayne McDuffie, Denys Cowan, Michael Davis, and Derek T. Dingle. Its mission was to increase diversity in comics, creating a universe filled with heroes and characters from underrepresented communities, particularly African Americans, while partnering with DC Comics for distribution.
